Reviews
"The emphasis here is on holism in the broadest sense, that is, healing the whole person. Most of the book discusses meditative techniques, feelings, and self-counseling.... two chapters deal with the traditional topics of nutritional and physical health." - Library Journal

Back Cover
Here is a book that suggests health can only be found in the life we live. Good health is not just a state of being. It is a result. A result of the way we live in our body, our mind, and our feelings; but just as importantly in the way we treat our fellow human beings and our common ecology.

So "Holistic" becomes not a slogan but a practice. Emotional distress has an impact on our physiology just as our physiology and our nutrition relate to our psychological states and our spiritual condition. All occur in a world we make and remake day by day. And our world affects the whole world.

The role of feelings, the art of self-counseling, practical techniques for dream work, and a life-oriented structure for meditation, etc., are functionally related to the real world we live in - just as the role of disease, nutrition, glands, bio-elemental healing, etc., also concern our actual existence. Harmonizing these elements becomes truly an art and practice of holistic health.
