Holography MarketPlace 4th edition

There are several very interesting features to this creation and the artist did a great job.

The artist studied the "Ghostbusters" craze and realized that the highlight people liked to see was the ghost getting zapped. Consequently they made a two channel hologram which works as you tilt the hologram from top to bottom. The first image has the ghost running from the Ghostbuster. The second image has the ghost being zapped.

The artist realized that embossed holograms can exhibit a "rainbow" of colors as you move them around. Consequently, as you view the image of the ghost being zapped you get the effect of several different colors from green to red.

Another very interesting feature of this hologram is that the artist decided to have the image project out of the page toward the viewer. Both the Ghostbuster's weapon and the right foot of the ghost come out of the page toward you. If you are going to do something like this, it is wise to have width to your hologram. The artist solved this by having a rectangular hologram and having the subject they wanted to project with the most detail (the weapon) located directly in the center of the hologram which is where you should always locate a subject you want to project. On the right side of the hologram the foot of the ghost projects out of the hologram but it is a "fuzzy" image to start with so nobody expects to see a lot of detail.

It is not possible, of course, to demonstrate the depth the hologram gives without having a physical copy to hold and move around.

You can get a copy of the ad by simply ordering the publication it is in (hmp4) and you will get the other ads with holograms in the book as well. The ads can be removed from the book. The cost is inexpensive ($20) and can be ordered here.
