In this particular example we have one of the more popular stock holograms which is the planet earth sitting on a receding grid. The hologram is customized by overprinting your custom logo or message.

The benefit of taking this path is that you do not have any of the design expenses or mastering charges (which can be considerable). You also still have some sense of personalization since your logo or message appears on each hologram. If you are fortunate you may even find an image in stock that fits your theme. This method is especially good for those on a tight budget.

The downside, of course, is that the image is probably being used by others, the images available may not fit your need, and your creative process is therefore somewhat restricted.
