| Founded in 1977, Ross Books is a general trade
publisher of books in print and electronic format. Our catalog includes
books about a variety of topics including health, cooking, music,
sports, science, and more! Many of our titles are instructional and
educational. We are widely known for our books on holography which we
have been publishing since 1982. |
| Franz H. Ross is the President of Ross Books (email: franz@rossbooks.com). He founded Ross Books in April of 1977. The company has published a wide variety of books, as well as some computer software. The holography community has especially benefited from his efforts. In 1982, he published the world's best-selling holography instruction manual The Holography Handbook - Making Holograms the Easy Way which was the first book published with a mass produced embossed hologram. In 1989 he published the first edition of the Holography MarketPlace. The eighth edition of HMP was released in 1999. Mr. Ross holds a BA degree in physics from the University of California, Berkeley. |
