Fisher is a master at endings - those quiet and sometimes
apocalyptic moments when the poet abandons the artifact
to the designs of the unknown reader. In conscious
awareness of the dangers of such a stance there is
salvation." - Booklist (American Association of
Libraries) "Teachings combines everything - the grand river tradition of poetry, your own sensibility, the present era, and language that acts." - Hayden Caruth (editor of The Voice Within Us: American Poetry Of The 20th Century): |
