Author Biography
David Fisher graduated summa cum laude from Duke University. He was in the Norwegian Merchant Marine, and speaks and translates a number of languages. He holds advanced degrees from Yale. A native North Carolinian, he now lives in San Francisco where he teaches a small writing workshop. Mr. Fisher's work has been widely published in journals. He authored "Requiem for Heurtebise: Homage to Jean Cocteau" (Manroot, 1974), a non-fiction account (With John William Clouser) of the life of a man on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List for ten years called "The Most Wanted Man In America" (Stein and Day, 1975) and "The Book of Madness" (Gallimaufry, 1975). David Fisher underwent shock treatment in 1972.
